About

I work at the intersection of strategy, systems, and emerging technology -- going into complex, ambiguous environments and turning them into direction people and organizations can act on.

Over 25 years I've done this as a strategist, product leader, and founder, across platform ecosystems at Microsoft, innovation strategy at TEAGUE, commercial spaceflight at Blue Origin, R&D at Meta Reality Labs, and the enterprise software company I co-founded and led to acquisition. My roots are in design and product theory -- the question of how good products and systems actually come to be, scale, and endure -- and that question has driven every role since.

What I'm Curious About

Much of my work sits at the intersection of technology and the systems people rely on to live and work. Some areas I continue exploring include:

• How emerging technologies reshape organizational systems

• How complex technological systems remain understandable to humans

• How AI changes the structure of knowledge work

• How strategy holds up in environments of uncertainty
